HEALTH GUARANTEE

At Doberaman Foundry, the health and well-being of every Doberman puppy is one of our highest priorities. Each puppy receives appropriate veterinary care before leaving for its new home.

We require every new owner to schedule a veterinary examination shortly after receiving their puppy. If your veterinarian identifies a significant illness or condition that may have been present before or at the time of sale, please contact us promptly and provide the relevant veterinary documentation so we can review the situation according to the terms of our Health Guarantee.

While no responsible breeder can guarantee that a puppy will never develop a health condition, we are committed to providing puppies that have received appropriate care and veterinary attention before joining their new families.

Replacement Policy

If a Doberman puppy develops a qualifying hereditary or congenital condition covered by our Health Guarantee during the applicable guarantee period, written documentation from a licensed veterinarian may be required.

If the condition meets the requirements of the guarantee, Doberaman Foundry may provide a replacement Doberman puppy of comparable value, subject to the specific terms and conditions of the Health Guarantee.

A replacement is not intended to diminish the emotional value of your original puppy. Our goal is to provide a fair remedy when a qualifying health condition covered by the agreement is confirmed.

How You Can Help Keep Your Puppy Healthy

Your puppy’s ongoing health also depends on proper care after arrival. We recommend that every new owner:

Schedule an initial veterinary examination promptly after receiving the puppy.
Follow your veterinarian’s recommendations regarding vaccinations and preventive care.
Maintain an appropriate vaccination and deworming schedule.
Provide a balanced, age-appropriate diet and fresh drinking water.
Follow your veterinarian’s recommendations for exercise, development, and general wellness.
Keep copies of veterinary records and provide documentation when required under the Health Guarantee.

Following appropriate veterinary care helps support your puppy’s health and may also be required to maintain eligibility under the terms of the guarantee.

What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

The Health Guarantee does not cover conditions or circumstances that are unrelated to a qualifying hereditary, congenital, or pre-existing condition, including:

Normal developmental changes
Temperament, behavior, training, or socialization
Changes in adult size, weight, color, or markings
Conditions resulting from accidents, injuries, neglect, or improper care
Health problems associated with inappropriate nutrition or obesity
Failure to provide recommended veterinary care or preventive treatment
Conditions resulting from failure to follow veterinary recommendations
Routine veterinary expenses, vaccinations, medications, or preventive care
Spaying, neutering, or related procedures unless specifically stated otherwise in the purchase agreement
Conditions that are not covered under the written Health Guarantee

Veterinary Health Examination

Before leaving Doberaman Foundry, each Doberman puppy receives an appropriate veterinary assessment based on its age and individual needs.

The examination may include an assessment of:

Heart and lungs
Eyes, ears, and skin
Teeth, mouth, and gums
Muscles, joints, and overall physical condition
Gastrointestinal and urogenital health
General growth and development

Where applicable, veterinary records and health documentation will be provided to the new owner.

We also strongly recommend that your puppy receive a veterinary wellness examination shortly after arrival. Your veterinarian can establish an ongoing care plan and advise you about vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition, exercise, and other age-appropriate health needs.
